CNC Lead Lathe Machinist

Well established Central Oregon CNC machine shop specializing in complex close tolerance components for a variety of industries looking for a highly skilled and motivated machinist to join our team. We place great emphasis on quality, reliability, on-time delivery and superior customer service. If you are a highly skilled CNC multi-axis lathe machinist with a minimum of 10 years experience manufacturing close tolerance “fussy” parts from a variety of metals and plastics, we want to hear from you.

Successful candidate will be able to:

1. Provide leadership in our lathe department and act as mentor to junior machinists
2. Take machining projects independently from concept to completed product
3. Must be competent at documenting work with full programs, setup instructions, tool lists, inspection requirements, etc
4. Possess high personal standards with an awareness of quality and productivity

Skills Required:

1. Minimum of 5 years experience programming CNC multi-axis CNC lathes with MasterCam
2. Minimum of 5 years experience setting up multi-axis CNC lathes
3. Minimum of 10 years experience in the CNC machining field working with close tolerance parts from a variety of metals and plastics
4. Direct experience with MoriSeiki multi-axis lathes a plus
5. Experience working with AS9100 quality standards and GD&T prints a plus
   

This is a day shift position
